New Mexico Community Foundation
has worked to improve the quality of life for all residents of New Mexico. The only statewide foundation, NMCF was started in 1983 by a small group of dedicated and visionary volunteers who believed in the power of Philanthropy as a tool for inspiring creative, community-based change and prosperity.
NMCF has distinguished itself as a champion of community philanthropy. Our grassroots approach to building stronger communities empowers community members to collaborate on critical issues, tap into local resources and discover their strengths and assets.
Thriving
NEW MEXICO
Dedicated to expanding the ability and opportunity for New Mexicans to thrive on their own terms. We envision lasting well-being, opportunity, and vitality for every community.
THRIVING RURAL
Rural communities are the heart of our state. We seek out and invest in upstream projects and planning efforts that strengthen rural places and enable people to thrive on their own terms.
THRIVING ENVIRONMENTS
Prioritizing local eco-regeneration efforts that steward and care for our delicate natural ecology and our diverse eco systems.
THRIVING INDIGENOUS
Supporting Indigenous-led projects that reflect the priorities and aspirations of Tribes, Pueblos, and communities.
