Management Services for Nonprofits

The New Mexico Community Foundation (NMCF) strengthens existing nonprofits by providing a variety of management and administrative support services.

NMCF provides management services –including investment or fund management–for nonprofit organizations that may not have the in-house resources to undertake the required investment management, reporting and committee work. This includes organizations that currently have an endowment or that wish to establish an endowment with NMCF.

NMCF also provides nonprofits with administrative support services such as banking, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

The following are not eligible for NMCF management and administrative support services:

  • A for-profit entity
  • Services of an individual which are the sole expenditures of the project and which provide the basis for that individual’s livelihood
  • A project that has as its objective the advancement of a religion or religious doctrine
  • An entity whose purpose is to engage in electioneering and prohibited lobbying activities
