Field of Interest Funds

This support targets charitable priorities specific to the Field of Interest you choose. Your gift can support today’s needs or serve as endowment gift to sustain positive change within the sector.

You can also support Field of Interest non-profit organizations build their agency endowments enabling sustainable community service.

NMCF has established a number of funds that serve a field of interest. They include a variety of programs serving each field:

Ages 0-24

  • Pre-natal early infant care and rural day care
  • Pre-K and transition to school programs
  • At-risk youth and after-school programs
  • School based health centers
  • Positive youth development

Arts & Community

  • Lifelong learning center through art
  • Community Arts Council
  • Art Education
  • Performing Art in rural communities
  • Sustainable economic development

Basic Human Needs

  • Physically and mentally challenged persons
  • Homeless
  • Domestic violence
  • Food pantry
  • Health care for uninsured

Civic Engagement

  • Advocacy for vulnerable communities

Elders

  • Community care for Native American elders in NM
  • Needs of low income elders
  • Inter-generational programs
  • Advocacy for elders

Each of these Field of Interest Funds can receive contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations from which NMCF will then make strategic grants to the most pressing issues.
